Only reason this disaster of a team was here is because he clutched tf up when the captain went down.
I’m very proud of our Olympians, especially these guys. They absolutely dominated the US but had some bad puck luck. Happens.
If this were a best-of-series, Canada 100% takes home gold.

He was one of the better forwards for the team after Crosby went down. He did everything he could, despite not being used enough. Looking forward to him tearing up the league now that he’s back.

Everything right, except for MacKinnon shooting in to an EMPTY FUCKING NET. Seriously a hate MacKinnon and think Suzuki struggled at the beginning being stuck with him.
Bennett got more ice time despite taking a 4 minute minor and taking a back breaking penalty against the Fins last game.
Can play what ifs all day and it’s pretty ambitious to say that if Suzuki got 15 mins Canada wins, but seemed pretty obvious that the Marner – Suzuki – Stone line was clicking and the most effective line (in both ends) behind MacKinnon – McDavid – Celebrini. It’s a shame team Canada fans did not to get see more of that line.
I hope the gold medal game is an eye opener to the GM (hope there is a new team Canada GM) and coach (I respect Cooper but would be fine either way if he leaves or stays). You take the best players at the time to a best on best tournament and play them. Parayko, Doughty and Bennett should not have made the roster.
This guy has 20 wins in ot this season. He could have won it for Canada.

I mean Suzuki proven how many times he was clutch in the regular season.
For how little they used him, I think Nick really made a difference whenever he was out there. He should be proud.

I cared less because of the cartoon 8AM start time. That isn’t a serious time to watch hockey. It would be more palatable if the game was pushed early or late prime time in Italy but it wasn’t. It wasn’t treated with respect.
