It’ll get overlooked but Larkin Miller and Trochek allowed the US to win this game by killing the 5 on 3. That face off win and ensuing kill was huge
What a beast!!!
How he wasn’t taking the opening 3v3 faceoff is beyond me. Hockey criminal level of bad choice having Matthews take it over Larkin.
He was out there for first 30 seconds with a FO win, then off for 30 seconds and then out for the last 30 seconds of that 5 on 3.
He’s really good. What a career. Hopefully gets a little more hardware before he’s all done.

I heard something the other day on one of the broadcasts that the Refs at the Olympics aren’t faking out the players on puck drops and that’s why guys like Larkin have been getting kicked out so much in the NHL and not in the Olympics.
