Canada must have won the thing, right?!? 😭😭😭

  2. PanicOnFunkatron

I’m biased as a Sabres fan and I know they’re not giving an award to a player on a team that lost in the quarterfinals but Dahlin had a really good tournament

We all knew Celebrini was going to be a star, but these Olympics, dude just kicked the door in to say he’s arrived

  4. Mission_Impractical

I mean cmon now. Otter won gold without even trying.

  5. Advanced_Zucchini_45

Sorry but McAvoy was a beast for the US.

  6. ReApEr01807

Two dudes directly responsible for Canada losing, but also a brick wall in net…

  7. andeqaida

Can’t argue on any of these.

I would’ve loved to see some Finnish players there, but even Heiskanen didn’t shine as normal level 😕

McAvoy should get an honorable mention

Zach Werenski was a +/- +8 with 6 points and the golden assist with 37 less TOI minutes than Makar. And he absolutely bullied Mack to get that last apple.

    Makar had 6 points and +/- +5.

    Werenski over Makar.

Habs need to get their hands on Hellebuyck and it’s a possible cup. Monty and Dobaś won’t cut finals.

Quinn was better this tournament. Makars ill timed pinch in OT had me swearing before the game winner.

I’m sorry but where the FUCK is my boy Lucas Raymond? 3rd in scoring and Sweden didn’t even get to a medal game

  13. Final_Policy_4865

Habs haters are not gonna like this one! 😭

Slafkovsky is on fire this season. The Habs have a good one.

I wasn’t really sure about Bucky especially since he had been out but maybe that worked out in his favor as both Swayman and Oettinger weren’t coming in at their best prior to the Olympics. But Connor Hellebuyck did his thing. Go USA!

  16. outdoorpepper

I guess nobody watched Lucas Raymond play. Finished 3rd in total points.

This is Damian Clara erasure and I won’t stand for it!

That trade to Minnesota seemed to have reinvigorated life back into Quinn Hughes

  19. B_pudding

Everyone who celebrates with a pedo protector can fuck off for all I care.

  20. Folks on the West Coast have watched Celebrini bloom into a legitimate superstar this season. Now the whole world knows.

Celebrini was standout-good at a tournament of the best of the best

    Future looks bright as hell

I’d might agree with Makar, until I saw Boldy split the Avs D-core (Makar and Toews) for that first tally yesterday.  That just shouldn’t happen.

I still think Jon Cooper should have put Celebrini, McDavid, and Makar out on the ice to start overtime. It’s also the « don’t overthink it » choice.

MacKinnon already wasn’t having his best game so far, while Celebrini was generating so much offense and playing so well. Maybe Cooper thought MacKinnon would be extra eager to redeem himself after missing the empty net, but let him do that on the second rotation, especially when you have the chance to ice the other three.
