I understand this might be a legitmate move, but I’ve seen the Wild and other teams making call ups since practices resumed, and it’s kinda wild to me the league can institute a full trade freeze no issue, but can’t just say « hey we know its a weird situation don’t worry about having enough players on the roster until you actually play again »
Is this a practice angle? I would hate to imagine that there are players missing a regular season game b/c they are going to the State of the Union
Do we know the status on Jimmy?
Ek did have a pretty nasty looking leg injury in the quarterfinal game. He played through it but I wonder if he’s going to miss some time.
I hope nobody is hurt but Jones has been really good filling in this year, nice to have guys get called up and not have to stress out about it.
Any Chance Fabes, Quinn, and Boldy sit out on Friday? McDavid is sitting out a back to back this week and I would imagine other USA and Canada players will get rest games too
After watching Jones and the abysmal Iowa Wild like 10 days ago… I get the Ben Jones thing. Him being the constant call up makes sense. I’ll eat crow on that.
