What's wrong with Darnell Nurse? Is that even a question? Why are we acting like he's any sort of top 2 defenceman in this league? He's fringe top 4 at best, and bottom 2 at worst. What's wrong with him? He's not that good to begin with.

Can we please, just try him on the right side. He's not making the touch passes so let's get him winning battles on the boards on the right side and let the 2LD be best of the lefties with Wahlman penciled in. We need to keep Nurse on his backhand and just be ready for what he's gonna shovel out of corners. Why can't NHL player contracts come along with performance clauses? OR, salaries can be lower with perfromance based bonuses based on metrics for your position? I just think there has to be a better way. A guy has 1 good year and gets awarded for 10 good years but isnt held accountable to STAY at the level at which the handsome contract was awarded!?!
