I dunno about y’all, I could not have ***dreamed*** of a more perfect return from the Olympic break.
* Utterly spectacular 1st period. Marchy scores against Toronto because of course. Had them absolutely hemmed in defensively and had a 16 to 4 shot advantage at one point.
* E-Rod had an incredible game. 1st shortie of his career was incredibly well deserved and he had Woll doing the splits with that filthy move.
* Toronto understandably played better the next two periods but our D held, Bob screws screw your rumors
* Freaking hilarious goal was overturned in the 3rd period thanks to Mackie being a mile offsides. Leafs defenders falling down one on top of another. Just comedic gold.
Think Toronto is officially buried. Got a chance to make up another huge 2pts tomorrow night vs Buffalo. Give us a reason to believe boys!
