Now the problem is who wants him…

Nobody is touching that contract with a 10 foot pole

  3. He has positive value around the league. Not a play driver but will score 25-30 for many years in the right situation. And not a liability defensively.

  4. Please!!! I think we’ll need to retain if he’s gonna go.

I love you Boeser but nobody is paying assets for 6 more years of you at 7.75 mil when you have 12 goals on the year

I know he’s been playing with like Kampf most of the time but still…. You’d probably have to add assets to move him for nothing at this point

If people think Peteys value is in the gutter, Boeser’s is even worse

Dubas and Rutherford should do another deal we can take either Rutger McGroarty or Ville Koivunen for a pair of seconds

This is the one that will hurt the most at this point if it happens. It would be ideal if Boeser got traded, but I wouldn’t be upset if he stayed provided most of the other forwards with terms go.

Man, do it! I do think he could get a decent prospect or a possible first. 7 mil for 25 goals is not horrible otherwise Canucks wouldn’t have signed him to it.

I wasn’t a fan of re-signing him but 25 goals is not easy to come by and they were out of options (missed out on other FA’s)

That’s pretty much his avg per season

I still think Seattle is up to something and he or Debrusk could fit for them

It helps Brock has pk’d past few seasons and improved defensively

    Move him.

I read somewhere McMann is getting 5 on open market. 🤔

So 7 is high on backend but if he can be a 25g and 50 point guy is what it is.

Too inconsistent for my liking. Debrusk too. I didn’t like the DeBrusk signing either but I think they hoped he’d gel with Petey (Boeser with Miller).

Edit: I’d hope for a 1st but be happy to move on from contract especially if he wants to move on now too.

Damn the Garland. Boeser, and Demko deals were just not necessary. If they cost Alvin his job, i get it.

  10. Straconus

You put him with the right center and he’ll score 40 again no problem.

The Canucks are one of the most incompetent organizations in professional sports lol. They just signed a bunch of vets to term with NMC. Now all of a sudden they realize they need to rebuild mid-season. I wouldn’t trust our current management group to build my subway sandwich.

Dude is every player related merch I have about to be useless

  13. Any-Following6236

The MAGA boys want back to the US.

  14. glennis_the_menace

We can’t ask too much for him so honestly, he’d be a good upgrade for a team deep on C. His contract’s not that bad in the flat cap area but we’ll probably have to take a dump back.

  15. xVoluntasx

I must be in the minority here, if we keep a vet or two, id prefer it to be him

  16. Sir_KnowItAll

I’ve heard that he is willing to waive it only if they find the right team. We were all shocked for a few seconds but that’s because he didn’t mention that it was only for the right team.

  17. Decent-Box5009

lol not sure what we’d get for him on that contract. Love Boeser but he is negative value hopefully someone takes a flyer.

  18. mywhitevans97

Performance aside, this management group has treated Boeser terribly

  19. TattooedBrogrammer

dudes invisible when hes not scoring.

  20. WeVeeReality

He’s worth nothing right now. If he wants to be traded he should use that as motivation to start scoring. Finish strong and trade him in the off-season. The man can score… given the motivation.

  21. BigBirdsBrain

boeser is what he is at this point. he’ll score in the right spot but he’s not driving play or tilting the ice. if he’s open to moving and the return makes sense, it’s probably time.

  22. Alienegra22

Literally having the worst season of his career but somehow some of your still give him a pass and say he can get us a first round pick because he can perform during high pressure situation…
