It always should’ve been TK for my money..said it at the time & have continued saying it.
He’s everything we love in a Flyer. He competes his ass off, he sticks up for others, he takes no sh*t & above all he’s an elite player.
I’ll always think Torts wanted TK too but management wanted Coots. Him sitting Sean so shortly after only reinforced my thoughts on that, too.
Mich needed a night like this to get his confidence going again, I’m happy for him and hopefully they are speaking the light into him that this is who he is and can be.

He def has leadership qualities. And I love his passion, the good times, but also the times he gets pissed when he messed up like in last night’s game when he flubbed that pass (shot?) and was so pissed on the bench.

TK would make a great captain. But Coots, too, also makes an excellent captain as well.
TK is the captain of this team. He became my favorite flyer his rookie year, it’s been so cool seeing him mature into the leader of this team. He’s the perfect flyer.
