This is the take the fans should have, we didn’t play bad and some parts of our game are rusty after a long break.
People gotta chill a lil bit

Can’t make a game winning save to save his life. Weakest link.

  4. matthew_sch

It’s one thing if it was earlier in the season, but there are 24 games left for the Habs to play, and they really can’t afford to give up points like this. At this stage in the season, anything can happen

J’étais au Centre Bell ce soir, l’équipe au complet jouait brouillon pis c’est normal.

1 point malgré tout, 2e dans la division tout va bien.

  6. Im not worried either Monty, Dobes should be in Saturday

  7. Smart_Recipe_8223

Bench his ass already. Dobes Dobes Dobes

I thought the Slaf and Kap were going to get a boost from the Olympics but it looked the opposite.

Someone hasn’t been serious about their conditioning, man looks like Chris Griffin

Careful Sam you’ll stir up the haters in this sub

  11. This is the exact response you’d get out of underperforming goalie that knew he sucked.

The team played very well in front of him. It’s time to let this guy go, I know he’s Quebecois but its time

Montembeault was amazing when we needed to lose games to secure top draft picks. But now, being 2nd in the Atlantic and 7th overall, you think we have to move in a different direction.

You cannot run a 1a/1b tandem when your 1a is a consistent sub .900 sv % goalie, even going back to his days with Armada.

Don’t wanna hate but he is chubby asf gotta lose some weight big man

  14. ChessmansGambit

“I’m not worried” x2… After another game of sub .850 sv% and choking the lead the lead late in the 3rd and losing in OT… Ok man.

  15. Vese316

Fans should give that guy a break and fans should be positive, yes we lost but we played until end, we didn’t play that bad.
Yes, for some little parts of the game, but not all the game was … After a long break. People gotta chill a lil bit more.

Jesus fucking Christ Habs fans are a miserable bunch. This thread would turn Jack Napier into the Joker

  17. mulder00

It was exactly like most of the games this season. Grab lead, get crowd excited. Blow lead in 1 minute. Take lead again, get scored on with empty net. And OT once again.

  18. FlyingVMoth

Les deux équipes jouaient brouillon mais j’ai quand même trouvé que les Habs ont mieux joué.
    Le problème c’est le 5v3.

  19. xDarkseidx

If this team doesnt make the playoffs its hard not to blame this bum while Dobes is carrying. You got to score 5+ Goals to win a game with Montemblow apparently

  20. SnidelyWhiplash27

I am not a Monty haters nor a Doby lover, I sincerely hope they both do well, but Monty’s nonchalance after a loss that should have been a win in regular time is rather frustrating. I don’t expect him to cry after a loss as Doby has done in the past, its probably not healthy, but you gotta to admire the fire, the desire to win.

And before anyone trots out rust as an excuse, the Islanders were equally liable to be rusty. Getting outplayed is one thing but settling for one point in a winnable game not only is frustrating, it is liable to bite the team come playoff time.

  21. I would like to see Sam blaming himself a bit more instead of including the team even if he is partially right.
