I don’t blame him. He’s a solid (streaky) player who needs to be on a good team to do well – not a play driver. No issues with this statement at all.
I think he has strong trade value. Great contract and is a big game player.

The guy is just being honest . And he’s correct in his assessment. He is a net front rebound scorer . I don’t blame any of them for jumping ship . This ownership and organization has failed the players and fans . It’s been one cluster fuck after another. It’s going to be a long road ahead of many years losing .
understandable, he wasn’t drafted here and doesn’t have that emotional connection to the team to stay for a rebuild, he was brought here to help us make the playoffs and it didn’t happen. send him to a playoff team and wish him well, hopefully we can get something decent back.
I’m preparing myself for massive disappointment at the deadline. Canucks need to lower their internal value of every player.

I like him and would have liked for him to stay but I fully respect that he wants out and appreciate his honesty. He wants to win and play on a team that compliments his style.
Not every player wants to be losing for years. I think we can get decent return for him.
