“My game doesn’t fit that” aka he needs good linemates since he does nothing but bang in juicy rebounds.

  2. reubendevries

I mean I understand his position and I’m glad he’s clear he wants out. We shouldn’t want anyone that doesn’t want to be here for a rebuild.

If you can get a second for the guy take it.

« you better start believing in rebuilds… Yer in one! »

  5. I don’t blame him. He’s a solid (streaky) player who needs to be on a good team to do well – not a play driver. No issues with this statement at all.

I think he has strong trade value. Great contract and is a big game player.

The moment Jake heard of a rebuild

May not fit a rebuild, but it’s hard to move you when not a single team has called about you.

The guy is just being honest . And he’s correct in his assessment. He is a net front rebound scorer . I don’t blame any of them for jumping ship . This ownership and organization has failed the players and fans . It’s been one cluster fuck after another. It’s going to be a long road ahead of many years losing .

understandable, he wasn’t drafted here and doesn’t have that emotional connection to the team to stay for a rebuild, he was brought here to help us make the playoffs and it didn’t happen. send him to a playoff team and wish him well, hopefully we can get something decent back.

I’m preparing myself for massive disappointment at the deadline. Canucks need to lower their internal value of every player.

  11. YouthCoachMentor

These guys should keep their mouths shut. By opening his, the Canucks have lost some leverage. Let your agent do the talking behind the scenes.

  12. MadCard05

    Understandable.

I think a lot of players were sold this being a playoff team, and that’s far away from what we are.

Get a return and wish him well.

« I’m not concerned with stats » says man with 2 even strength goals all year

Coming from a guy that has been part of the problem because of lack of production

  16. NoLogsNoCrime

13 goals in 60 games. Buddy you ARE the rebuild. Helping out a ton with the tank.

  17. sinisterwanker

Why does a player like Debrusk have a full no trade clause lol? I know next year its a 15 team list but bro…

  18. I like him and would have liked for him to stay but I fully respect that he wants out and appreciate his honesty. He wants to win and play on a team that compliments his style.

Not every player wants to be losing for years. I think we can get decent return for him.

Well Jake, the way you’re playing, you’re contributing to it

This franchise is so cooked I don’t think the average fan understands

Hope he isn’t overly picky with his NTC then.

I doubt he gets traded by the TDL but can see him being traded in the offseason
