meanwhile taxpayers are footing up to 80% of the entire cost of the arena, just to experience higher prices for tickets, drinks, food, merch, and any other thing you can think of under the sun. Great, we will have new concerts and events coming into the city. The business surrounding the new arena will benefit heavily, that I don’t disagree with. But the overall value is HEAVILY favored for the rich fuckin billionaire that owns all of it. Just… disappointing.
