Precautionary if Gibson can’t go? Or is he definitely out?

Todd downplayed the shit out of the injury. Hope he was right.

They’re not bringing him up to sit in the press box. I don’t like where this is heading….Hopefully Gibby is alright

I’m skeptical he gets into a game if the Gibson injury is as minor as we’ve been “told” via reporters, but if he gets even a practice or a warmup or two around NHLers it can’t be bad for him, especially since this might be a chance to rest for a couple days (not sure what the Griffins schedule looks like before the weekend).

Remember when Cossa was supposed to be the goalie of the future lol

Maybe a Talbot trade is pending? Half joking, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Obviously if Gibby is hurt that majorly sucks but this is a big opportunity for Cossa too, I’m feeling optimistic about this

I thought gibby just had a stinger… Maybe just a paper move to be ready?

It’s not surprising considering Gibby’s potential injury. It was downplayed a bit but precautions should be taken regardless.

Talbs had a good game in relief, I’d guess they’ll have Seabass back up at least a game before playing him. As excited as I am to see Cossa in Detroit, please be ok Gibby.

Cossa leads us to the promised land…

  13. Could someone explain the difference between an emergency recall and a normal recall? Are there certain requirements that make it an emergency recall? Is there any benefit of an emergency recall vs a normal one?

Seabass called up under emergency conditions. Emergency recalls are very short-term in nature. Once the healthy player (Gibson) is healthy they are required to be sent down immediately following the doctor’s bill of health. My guess is Gibson is a game-time decision tonight, meaning Seabass around just in case. Would have liked him to get the AHL start tonight, oh well.

Gibby is injury prone, maybe they don’t want to push it or wait for gibby to be 100% while also taking this time to see what seabass has for us.

So is Gibby’s « he is fine just a stinger » status similar to when Todd says the same about Kane? I really hope not

Since Cossa is gonna be up, might as well give him a start.

The trade is 1:1, Thomas for talbot

  20. One_Vibraldo

Talbot is getting traded right? Gibson isn’t hurt right?

Maybe he will pull a Brandon Bussi and take the entire league by storm.

Bring MBN too. Let’s fucking go!
