    Basically the Canucks got a second round pick for Myers and then squeezed an additional fourth round pick from Dallas for retaining. Tidy piece of business. Especially for a player that had a NMC so there wasn’t a lot of teams to work out a trade with.

    It’s insane just how much this team has been gutted in the span of 2 seasons. The only players remaining from the bubble run (6 years ago RIP) are Boeser, Hoglander, Pettersson, and Demko. From the playoff run 2 years ago all that remains are those players, Bluger, Garland and Hronek.

    This is a sad day for me. I was really lucky to know the Myers family in person to some degree. Tyler is a genuine, kind person off the ice. He really cares about his kids, which says a lot about a person. Not feeling great about this.

    I think we can all agree, Myers gets a very warm welcome next time he steps on the ice in Vancouver.
