Why does sports media always ask such stupid, lame and boring questions? Yes obviously everyone wants to win, Mcdavid espesically. That's what being a competitive person is. Do these reporters not know what it's like to be dedicated totally to something? To give your blood, sweat and tears to achieve something great? I think not. It's all about the emotional hit pieces and one liners to get a reaction, it's politics and benefit seeking. It's not about the game, asking specific questions about a particular decision or play, a tactic used or how x player did y and what you did in response. It's all rhetoric looking for the next headline. No wonder so many pro athletes hate the media. They are literally blood sucking leeches.
McDavid is an incredible player but Olympic proved one thing he is no Sidney Crosby. Sidney is a 1 an Million talent he worked for it. McDavid is 1 and 100,000 talent and that is totally ok. we should stop comparing them. But Edmonton Oilers goaltending isn't looking so hot.
Just an insane question to ask as a reporter considering the answer is obvious. McDavo is going the best player on any ice he steps on, its a team game.
