    We literally just traded for Tsyplakov. I am sure something, even a bad pick like a 6th, could’ve been gotten for Dadonov. This makes no sense

    People are freaking out but if we’re selling and taking back cap dump contracts that expire this year while selling other players like Dougie we need room to make moves for dollars and roster spots. If someone takes these players no harm no foul but realistically this just allows roster moves for buying and selling.

    Trading for players that were on waivers, waiving players that were traded for, the Fitz specials.

    Everyone here saying that Fitz should have gotten something for these players—would anyone be happy to see *us* give up assets and a roster spot for a depth skater with 4 points in 52 games, 2 points in 36 games, or 0 points in 17 games?

    Now apply that same logic to 31 other teams.

    Ffs the corpse of Petry just got a conditional 5th (likely a 7th). Panther fans are throwing a parade. Relatedly, how the hell are Dadonov and Glendening not worth at least a 7th? Death by a million papercuts with this Front Office of jabronis.

    Calm down and breathe. Fitz isn’t an idiot and I highly doubt he deals Nemec. Most likely Dougie or Kovy are dealt.

    Either we’re cutting these guys loose like we did with Lammikko in order to let some Utica guys play out the rest of the season, or we’re making room for a trade.

    Curious to see where this goes, if anywhere.

    The Dadonov experience was so weird. Crazy that he started the year on Jack’s wing and is leaving with zero points to show for it.
