    Is Rosen good? seems to be quite old for a prospect. 2021 1st rounder. In any case, getting even a 2nd for Stanley/Schenn is a massive win for us already so I’m happy

    Damn, Rosén is really good. Surprised Buffalo was willing to part. He is lighting up the A and has done really well when called up this year. He should be on the main squad come next season if we don’t call him up right away.

    Just chiming in to say this might be the worst trade I’ve seen in some time. Rosen is a legit fucking player and should have been in the NHL ages ago. Correct me if I’m wrong but Schenn isn’t NHL quality and Stanley’s having a career year and is …. big?

    Crazy return from these two. I just wish we had traded them already during the summer and we might be in an actual playoff spot now. Anyhow, I hope we don’t play Bryson. (Chevy waive him and send him into Moose, so that Arniel can’t be tempted!)

    So we basically got a 2nd, 4th, a guy who’s gonna get an audition in the top-9 this season and a contract coming back. I’m very happy with this, sounds like Rosén is a good skater who’s producing great in the AHL and has been decent in his small time with the big club this year. Now just have to move Pearson + Nyquist for mid round picks and it’s a solid enough deadline.

    I seriously doubt Robert Thomas would accept a trade to Winnipeg, I seriously doubt St Louis would trade him within the division, and I seriously doubt Chevy would have the balls to pay what it would take to get him. But a little hopeful flicker in the back of my brain saw this return and thought « Rosen and a 2nd would be decent assets to package to get him, plus a first and Perfetti »

    Just when people think Chevy is over he pulls us back in.

    Stanley was a fun story this season I’ll miss his random slap shots and I’ll appreciate when he beat up Brady Tkachuk but I think this is a good return for him + Schenn.

    You guys gotta understand we had ZERO toughness and anyone willing to fight…we might have beaten the bolts 6-2 the other night but they ran our skill guys whenever they wanted and we had nobody on our bench to respond…watching Dahlin and Norris get abused with no response couldn’t continue…. I hope this is where Stanley comes in…Dahlin got mauled tonight by Malkin and hopefully that shit ends now…BTW you guys will love Rosen and don’t sleep on Bryson he can give you solid D6 minutes he’s just too small for what we needed

    Chevy masterclass. Fully recoup the picks on Schenn and flip Stan who was borderline waiver bait back in September for a kid who might just be a 2nd line winger.

    I’ll miss Stan but it had to be done at that price

    Does it really count as selling if it makes the team actively better right now through addition by subtraction? The Jets literally improved their playoff odds by making this trade.

    Chevy is just like golf. You go on the course, spray balls all over the place, throw your clubs, and say you’re quitting…and then you hit one sweet bomb drive on the 18th and say fuck this game is awesome!
