As A sabres fan im excited 2 of the last 3 games Malkan and point cheap shotted Rasmus. With Greenway hurt the sabres didnt have any guys who could fight. Logan will be on D3 with Kesselring. Schenn will be the number 7. The top 4 Dahlin Power Samuellson and byram will take the big minutes
Schenn we got strictly for physical presence and Stanley for size to add to our already big size..I wanted Schenn years ago but Adams never pulled the trigger and I think the Leafs got him for like a 3rd rounder super cheap..Bryson is just to small on the blueline but can show up on certain nights..you guys will love Rosen's speed and I am happy for him cause there is just no way we have room for him..I am surprised you guys retained 50% of Schenn but that could be where the 4th rounder comes in the deal

I really like Big Stan .. be has developed into a good D-man and brought some toughness to the lineup. He is finally playing with confidence. Schenn is also a tough player who would drive players into the boards. St.Louis didn't enjoy playing against him at all. With that said I think Rosen could be a very good player.
So… we traded UP to get Stanley. The guy takes 10 YEARS to put it together. We protect him in expansion drafts. He wants to stay in Winnipeg. He FINALLY puts it all together, and now the Jets get rid of him? For a guy with a -39 +/-??? Make it make sense. Explain it to me like I’m 5 years old. Because obviously I’m not getting it.
From a Sabres fan who has watching Rosen grow, he’s not super exciting to watch but that’s bc he’s had his best changes this year and when he came up it was 3/4 line minutes and what can a kid with that skill do with 8 minutes a night!

A lot of Sabres fans rag on Bryson. I have always liked him as a guy that seldom makes mistakes. Rosen is a wimpy goal scorer. Sabres score! They give up nothing they need for a couple bad asses. Just what Lindy needs when shit gets goin. Gotta have the answer!

Isak Rosén had three better prospects feeding him in the AHL in Ostlund and Kulich, and this year Helenius. It’s been years since we’ve been waiting to see if it translates to the NHL and it’s never really worked out. Hope it works out for you guys
Finally the Jets moved Logan Stanley last night and I am so glad that era is over because he was just way too problematic and inconsistent for my liking. We sent him and Luke Schenn to Buffalo for Jacob Bryson and Isak Rosén plus a second and a fourth round pick which honestly feels like a massive win for us. Buffalo can have the size and the headaches while we get a fresh start on the blue line and a really high end prospect in Rosén to help out the future of this team.
