  1. Carrick was a great team player. Always stood up for his teammates. Sad to see him go

  2. Good for Carrick , a real professional and good teammate , was exciting to watch, always gave 100% . Good luck in Buffalo. LGR 6:49

  3. Carrick was one of only a handful who looked like they cared. Great value player. And Laffy has stepped it up a bit. In years past I noticed during the few stretches he resembled a top prospect he was playing physical and was engaged in the battles. He has to work harder if he's going to turn into a relevant top 6 player.

  4. Laff has stepped it up just the way literally everyone in the league thought he would that isn’t a Rangers fan or Rangers hater. He has been a top 3 player every game but one since the break. Dude can do it. Hopefully this are signs of great things to come.

  5. Carrick the last Ranger who had some heart. Should have won the Steven McDonald award this year. He will be missed.
Fire Drury, no one wants to play for him

  6. Still feel Trocheck would have been a much better choice for Captain. And trade JT Miller away . They should move Laffy finally back to His natural left wing position. The reason he went to the right side was he was blocked on left side3 to be in top six cause of Panarin and Kreider . Laffy is a natural playmaker , not necessarily goal scorer. Hards to be a playmaker on a line with aretemi Panarin who too is a Playmaker .

  7. Detroit realistically is the only playoff team in the east with a gaping hole at #2 Center

  8. It's OFFICIAL: #NYR acquire Buffalo’s third-rounder and Chicago’s sixth-rounder in 2026 in the deal for Sam Carrick, per Mollie Walker

  9. I hope Rangers pick up a former 7th overall Alex Holtz off waivers he turned 24 recently

  10. Now I have bin following the ducks with Chris Kreider I loved the rangers all my life and not he has taken the thunder away

  11. Drury is tight lipped?? Really…….I guess I must be delusional. I thought I heard him announce to the whole NHL that Trouba, Kreider and Paneran were all up for grabs 😂

  12. "Set Laffy free", said that a couple of years ago, he looks freer now. More responsibility will allow him to be the player he was always meant to be.

  13. I thought that maybe this is Laf’s time to break out now that he is no longer in Paneran’s shadow. And now that JT is out, and probably for the rest of the season, he and Mika are the longest term veterans on the team. If this isn’t enough to motivate him to step up now, then he’s a bust and we can all give up on him. No more BS…….and how about a little FU to go along with it.😂🏒

  14. Laffy sucks, always had and always will be a borderline third liner. Never, ever wins a puck battle, is soft and lazy. Please, please get rid of the worst first overall pick in NHL history.

  15. Drury did him a favor…He stays in the relative area, and seriously upgraded his chances to win. He'll help them a lot. Definitely the most consistent Ranger over the last couple of seasons.

  16. Bad trade. Nashville got 2nd rounder for McCarron who is not as good and trustful player.

  17. Oh yeah, get rid of the player with the most grit. Mr. Carrick, I want to thank you and wish you well in your future endeavors. You were a great Ranger! Drury must go!

  18. HUGE TRADE! C'mon it was Sam Carrick for a 3rd & a 6th. 2 picks that will never play in the NHL. Carrick will help the Sabres playoff run, he's a solid team guy.

  19. Not gonna find a better player for our 4th line for 1 million…. but a 3rd is more than I thought.

    Drury m a s t e r class

  20. I know this is a business but I’m not happy with this . Loved Carrick ! He will be missed ! Gonna miss his fisticuffs and his heart !!

  21. DRURY IS A F- – – – – G DISGRACE!!! HE IS IN WAY 0VER HIS HEAD, AND D0IAN D0NT SEE IT, THIS TEAM IS SH0T N0W F0R YEARS T0 C0ME!!

  22. As soon as I saw that Carrick and Trocheck were held out of last night's game for Roster Destruction Purposes, I expected the worst to have come true.
Trading estab;ished players and leaders with grit for picks+prospects…. when you pick badly and develope worse …… What could possibly go wrong?

  23. Hate to see Sam go.. One of the few Rangers that I have a great deal of respect for. Hard working guy and will drop the gloves with anyone. Good Luck Sam!

  24. I enjoyed watching the "kids" play last night… after the 1st. Gotta say, I'm impressed with Iorio. Super involved… maybe a bit 'risky' with some decisions, but I appreciated the hustle and overall involvement.

  25. this is really not a HHHHUUUUGGGGEEEE move, it's not pronounced organ-eye-zation, if you blink any harder you are going to give yourself a concussion

  26. I agree, since the Olympic break Laf has taken more control. Hope it continues. Also, we should vote Carrick for the Steven McDonald award and present it April 8th when Buffalo is in NY. That would be justice.
