Jiricek had his chances, but it was clear he was boxed out because his size and shot didn’t make up for his defensive lapses on a team so hyper focused on accountability.
I don’t think he was terrible or anything. It’s just pretty telling that Hynes had Bogo and Hunt play instead. My guess is Guerin realized this and made a move now rather than waiting for Spurgeon to retire to bank on growth.
I mean,the Wild seriously need scoring wingers. The ones they do have are very old.

Hell, when Russian invaded Ukraine I still got a 72 hour notice before I had to leave. Picking up everything and starting somewhere new on hours notice is nuts.
Like obviously the guy makes a ton of money, so he can afford to keep his apartment for now and stay in a hotel or whatever but still, crazy lol

Good for him man. Great kid that worked super hard to become a reliable 3rd liner. Really improved his play and skating in the last couple seasons and even got bigger.
But seriously hes on to bigger and better things

Best part about rooting for the flyers is they always manage to trade your favorite players and keep the unlikable/unproductive assholes for longer than they should
Dumbest part about what pro sports has become is there is no allegiance to anything but the logo anymore. And while I still like the team comcast kills my joy because knowing if they flyers win the dipshits running them are also happy
