Yeah wasn’t fully sold on the contract longevity of Trocheck. 32 yrs old, coming off an olympics high, 3 years left in his contract, his contract value will really drop in the next few years I think. I would much rather wait and grab someone younger

It’s fine. We just made some good moves, some which can be seen as roster maintenance, and building a sustainable depth chart. Our biggest splash this year was *Quinn freaking Hughes*.

My knees are begging me to quit getting this news while I’m at Fleet Farm.

Whew dodged the bullet of massive overpay and having no ammo for this summer/next year

This is wild news to me.
And you.

Hey Wild Fam- who else would like to see Tank get some Reps with Kap and Hartman? I think Vladdy has more to give if he wasn’t playing with 2 other guys who struggle a bit offensively. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work- but I’ve been pretty whelmed with 5 on 5 Zuccy. Kap needs a gunslinger on his line. Apparently we’re not gonna get one by 2pm.

Lame.

The Rangers didn’t get anything for Bread, so now they want the world for everyone else.

Offseason is a better time to try and address 1C anyway. You’re always going to pay premium to get one mid season. And none of the available 1C options are Quinn Hughes caliber players where you basically give them whatever they want.

At least we don’t have to hear Hyneas screeching about tampering over Tro taking a picture at the Olympics
Punting this year is risky.
Rangers are just asking too much I guess lol
Totally fine with this – Seems like there was an impasse on the ask. Felt the Rangers didn’t want Stramel and MN was never going to include Yurov.
So 4 trades and we got marginally better as a result.
I mean if we didn’t have the pieces Rangers wanted then we didn’t have the pieces.
More posturing
It is what it is.
So ok with this his faceoffs are nice but he’s not the top 1C that deserves taking that big swing
>The New York Rangers have told teams they’re prepared to keep Vincent Trocheck if they don’t get the offers they’re satisfied with, per @FriedgeHNIC.

Detroit is going to pay then?
