Why would you think that? He’s four years older than Wilson, and Wilson is already on the wrong side of 30. If Ovi retires at season’s end, and Wilson is named captain, he’ll have three or four years max with the C.

I’ve never heard anyone talk about Carlson wearing the C. He’s roughly the same age as Ovie, so the next captain speculation for the past few seasons (at least) has always been Wilson.
He basically has the C when it comes to control of the locker room and respect. Ovi is Ovi, of course… but Willy is the leader, make no mistake about it
