Treliving was a bad GM in Calgary and he still is a bad GM now. It’s beyond infuriating to have thrown Dubas away just to hire Treliving without even interviewing anyone else. He didn’t deserve to be a shoe in candidate and this team is a mess with his trademark moves. Domi is a perfect example. Mediocre player signed to unmoveable money and unmoveable term for no reason when no one else would give the player that.

Pelly is a great head of MLSE for Treliving. Treliving is a great GM for Berube. Berube is a great coach for Rielly. In the real world when you are incompetent and want to keep your job and still suck you hope your direct supervisor is also an idiot. In that sense Rielly Berube and Treliving are all set. It is not easy to align so much incompetenc by accident. The Leafs did it by plan on multiple levels which is astonishing. You could throw darts at a board and not end up this bad. Amazing.
