Man, i get the business side of it, and why he did the Carlson and Dowd trades…but boy do i feel gutted by those moves.

Seems like the right move(s) to me. Tough decisions, but they have to be made. How many teams do you see sitting on players because they don't want to make these tough decisions that end up with nothing in return for a player? I have trouble feeling bad for a player making 8 million dollars a year to play a game, we have to keep these things in perspective, IMO. John will be fine, the Caps will be fine….and will have some draft picks to be fine(r) in the future.
