I really don’t understand how management looks at this team and says “yeah we can keep this playoff push with this goaltending”. I understand we have Fowler, but for right now, anything would be better than Monty, if they don’t wanna call up Fowler, fine, call up Kappo Kakkonen.

Hahahahaa Kent Hughs saw to that not happening. Monty is a joke of a goalie. A fucking Ebug would be better in net. Monty is constantly losing us games and it feels like the fans are beating their heads against a wall when trying to tell management to fucking move on from him but NOOOOOOOO gotta keep this lame duck of a goalie who is gunna cost us the playoffs. The team has no confidence when he’s in net. He gave up 2 goals on two opening shots ! (One was disallowed) and then another weak ass goal from the point. He looks like a fish out of water and the Habs need to call Fowler up and send Monty packing. This is getting pathetic. Going backwards cuz of shitty goaltending.

It seems goalies have an expiration date. Most of them can stay playable for a year or two, exceptional ones last decade and longer. They get » figured out » faster also as there are hundreds of video people on the payrolls across all the teams.
