I hope Larkin can be back as soon as possible, but I’m excited to see what MBN can do with his 2nd stint. Hopefully the extra time in GR settled him down a bit.
That probably means Larkin won’t be playing

Larks hasn’t missed a game in 2 years so naturally I’ll be at the first game he misses tomorrow.

Not the circumstances I wanted to see MBN back
We could really use one of our young guys to go on a tear here. I here’s a stack of guys with a heap of skill upside that we’ve seen patchily through the year. Finnie, ASP, MBN, Kasper.
We addressed our defence for the next 18 months, it should be fairly competitive. We still have huge holes in the top 6 but some of these guys have their chance to show they can be a solution. Need to find a few gems in the next year or two.
“Emergency conditions” feels better than a straight call up, right?
Even if Larkin wasn’t hurt, it was time to do this. Rotate him in for a couple games like we would do for Soda and see whether he sparks something.
MBN is more talented than Rasmussen or Shine and probably has more upside than Finnie or even Kasper.
Larkin being out for a bit is tough but MBN just needs to seize the opportunity and he’ll stick around when Larkin comes back.
I’m stoked about this. MBN has that heavy game they sorely need and right now only Kasper has that gear.
Obviously sucks Larkin is hurt but MBN getting more time this year with the DRW is a good thing.
We’re about to head out on a 4 game road trip, Larks will likely be out at least a game or few it sounds, and we just traded Soderblom while Perron isn’t ready. We need MBN probably even without parking being hurt anyway.
I actually think they’ve been planning to do this for about a week or two, since sitting soderblom. Guessing soderblom was on the table for a trade all along assuming we could find a deal that needed some bodies or picks. Hence him being sat without any real explanation other than fans assuming it’s because he wasn’t playing well (which, he wasn’t).
Question is, does the call up mean that year of his ELC slides if its under emergency conditions.
If they burn that year he should stay in Detroit.

Doesn’t necessarily mean larks is out. We need more scoring he has been on fire in Gr.. Why not bring him up see if we can get going again
Im sure Larkin has not even been fully evaluated yet. Impossible to read anything into this move.
