On dirait que la blessure de Larkin n’est pas aussi grave qu’elle en a l’air.

Well that is super promising. Hope him not being seriously injured is what it takes to beat the March demons.

  2. spaceenvahisseur

Man I was so stressed about Larkin, I want playoffs really bad.

  3. Now the question is: is this a Kane “day to day”, or an actual day-to-day. Hopefully an actual day to day and nothing is torn

That’s pretty optimistic- sounds like they would expect him back before the end of the road trip or 3/14

Next 4 are NJ, FL, TB, DAL all on the road. I’ll be happy if we take 4 of the next 8 points. I will
be happier if MBN plays so well they have to keep him up even when Larkin returns

Seeing it live yesterday was horrifying. Knees aren’t supposed to bend like that.

I’m willing to bet the injury is more serious than they are leading on and Larkin wants to play through it we probably won’t know until the seasons over, and they will tell us he played without a leg /s

    Hockey Peters are built different.

Please tiny infant Jebus in your golden fleece diapers, let Dylan Larkin be okay.

    Praise be

I was hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I’ll take this.

I’ll believe it when I see him hit the ice again. Either way some guys are gonna have to step the fuck up until he’s back.

Him being on the trip is highly encouraging. If he were day-to-day and at home…

I sacrificed my right knee to the gods yesterday for Larkin. It looks like it may have worked.

  15. suhhdude45

Thank god this sub didn’t overreact or anything….

  16. bcurt58

This is best case scenario after seeing the way his leg bent. I for sure thought it was gonna be a 2-4+ week injury

Who we going after in FA to shore up the C room? We need more reliable depth, this injury scare really opened our eyes. It’s been a different story in the past seasons because we haven’t been in contention the way we are this season. We have one more year of Copp after this year. A 2C caliber player and depth D are our main priorities this off-season coming up.

  18. BellsBeersy

That’s surprising. Being so close to the playoffs they probably won’t say what the injury is, teams will use that and try to target injuries

  19. The_ManWithNoName

I could seeing him missing a few games. I hope nothing more. Our boat feels like it’s taking on water.

  20. LGRW_Sparty88

I’m so nervous to accept this as truth but the fact that he’s coming on the trip is very encouraging. I am choosing positivity call me delusional if you want idc.

1- i like seein this group of grindy vet centers on the job , good roster buildin by yzer even though fans whine bout these signings forever

2- like seein big pressure put on marco at 2C , nows his time to get back on the good foot

3- nothing gainst soderbomb they guys a class act and has load of talent , if he can get his first step quicker which’ll enable him to make the space needed to create chances , but i luv seein shiner on the new 4 line

4- lark needs a rest anyway

line up from khans morning practice report –

    DeBrincat-Copp-Kane
    Finnie-Kasper-Perron (for Raymond)
    Appleton-Compher-MBN
    JVR-Rasmussen-Shine

  22. Pasha_Pup

Seems like a PR statement to try and manage the expectations of the fans.

If he isn’t done for the season, he will be playing injured, and either way that is bad for a team already struggling out of the break
