Given our direction I like the move. Yes cap space hurt a bit and a 1st/3rd was the going rate at the trade deadline but here’s what he gives up. Stanley Cup experience & how to win! We only had one player with a cup. He sures up the middle for another line. He’ll add some scoring & deliver hits which we needed. And finally he was the Captain so now we got more leadership. We got some exciting players coming up the next two years so let’s go Islanders!!!!!!

We gave up a lot, but I kinda think Schen is Sutter like player. He is a good addition. Love to MM, one of my all time Islanders! So glad he is still with team.

Bro looks about as old as my uncle lolol. I really hope this works out man, idk. Obviously Schenn is a great guy, great competitor, he's a class act. But is this what we needed to adress some of the issues we have with the team? Just my 2 cents. 2 sense? However that saying goes.
