  1. He's classy unlike the punk who hit him with a blindside hit. Barzal deserved a penalty if not a suspension for that hit. Putrid reffing tonight.

  2. Mature beyond his years Great Job Mac great job. We love ya kid! Next time Barzal gets his pos.

  3. Wtf are these questions. He clearly said he doesn’t wanna speak about it. Mack is trying to be respectful but yall are making it hard for him to do that. Ask more respectful questions.

  4. It’s healthy for him to not dwell on it. But speaking as a fan: REFS YOU SUCK! REFS YOU SUCK!

  5. Mack’s one of those players that hates losing more than loves winning. You can tell he’s not satisfied with these 2 OT losses

  6. Macklin is someone who always shows respect to everyone, including journalists. And when you get the rare chance to talk to an incredible player like Mack, you waste it on the dumbest questions instead of showing even a bit of professionalism. Macklin already said he’s not discussing that topic, yet you keep bringing it up every single time. Do your job better.

  7. Tough interview. He already said he's not gonna talk about that loser barzal, probably because he has nothing good to say about him, yeah, coz neither do I. But you all still keep pushing it.

  8. Mack has a lot of patience…the people asking the questions need to ask better questions…no wonder he was done !

  9. He hates losing more than he loves winning. That’s a sign of a uber competitive human.

  10. Idk what’s worst, the last question about getting hit by barzal or being exhausted and pissed and having to try to understand an Indian reporter with an accent

  11. he's still young, this is why maybe Toff is a better choice for C for now and for these post game interviews. not easy for the reporters either in their defense.

  12. These reporters can fuck off. He's the Golden Boy, the Chosen One. But he's also 19, and trying to trick him into criticising NHL refs on tape while he's emotional about a loss is despicable. What did they expect him to say? If these idiots want to build a good relationship with this man so he'll want to give them ANYTHING for the rest of his career, they need to stop this nonsense.

  13. He shut the first question about the call/refs straight away. To go back to it the second time is embarrassing. And not just for the reporter in question unfortunately. You're in a position where you're a conduit between the fans and the players and in that way you represent the fans. Have some respect for the position you're in. This is why bringing in hired gun reports with no connection to the area or the team doesn't work. You wouldn't see shit like this from Brodie because he's from the bay. He actually cares. Be better or gtfo.

  14. I’m so disappointed in the media. Firstly you know full well Celebrini is respectful and won’t diss anyone publicly, secondly you know they can’t diss the refs firstly cos they will prob get fined but also cos they will prob be officiating at future games and they don’t want a target on their back and thirdly read the room you know how ultra competitive Mack is and he takes losses personally (even though it’s a team sport and he’s not the only one on the team. He’s too hard on himself) and it was clear he was upset and he had already said he wasn’t going to talk about that (which was 100% the right thing to say) so why did you poke the bear and question further on it? I think I would of walked away too

  15. When he is frustrated like that, back off on the questions a bit. Why bring up the hit twice if he doesn’t want to talk about it.

  16. Someone needs to show the Sharks how the Bruins reacted after the Leafs Pat Quinn knocked out Bobby Orr. Every Bruin went after Quinn and the fans pelted him with garbage! He never went after Orr like that again. Sorry for suggesting vigilante justice.
