In another universe he has the self control to not get suspended in 3 of his first 4 playoff appearances, and if Ovi got hurt on the knee to knee hit Kadri threw in 2017 it would have been 4 of 4.

Colorado didn’t give up on him even when he got suspended with again. They helped him get his head on his shoulders and won a cup with him.
Whether he was still on the Leafs or not, the Leafs don’t win with him unless the Leafs stars perform like the Avs stars did. The had 4 players on that Cup winning team over a PPG for the entire playoffs. In the Core 4 era only Matthews has ever had a playoffs over a PPG and it was one time with 9 points in 7 games.
