    This team is looking great

  2. Faulk looked amazing out there. Congrats to Shiner on his first NHL goal! Norris Seider doing Seider things. Great win boys!

  3. Obviously Seider & JVR played well, and I was impressed with Faulk's debut with the team. He's a very positive addition to not only the blue line, but moving the puck through the neutral zone. Shout out to Shine! Well deserved 1st NHL goal for a guy who has done nothing but work his ass off no matter where he is playing. Love to see that. I also have to give some recognition to MBN, he was a tank out there and looked like he was playing with confidence. I hope he makes it very difficult to send back down. Last but not least, Johansson has been playing really well lately and he looked really good tonight. Good solid win to begin this critical road trip.

  4. I haven’t really followed Justin Faulk’s career that closely. I realize it’s just one game, but what a difference he makes. Calm defensive net front presence. Easy zone exits. He’s a big body. He’s got a great hockey sense. He’s a really solid defensive defenseman, that can also contribute in the O Zone. Great pick up by Stevie.

  5. Congrats on your 1st Shiner!!! Sick pass by JVR. Keep this going boys. The city is behind you. LGRW.

  6. Those D lines are smooth with Faulk and Chiarot on the second line with Bernard-Docker and Johansson. Copp and Kane need to toughen up. Sweet seeing Shine get his first NHL goal. And holy cannoli did Mo Seider step up this game. To the first goal of the game, grabbing the puck for Shine and his interview show he’s the next captain of the Detroit Red Wings

  7. You can't help but absolutely love what we saw tonight. Great to see Faulk in the interview as well as on the ice. Same as Perron – these guys seem to fit in well with the chemistry, and are going to raise the game enough to make the Wings a lot tougher to beat. This looks to have been the best defensive showing of the year. Of course Larks will be missed (stop asking, please, reporters…) but the gang rose to the occasion! LGRW!!!

  8. Shine’s reaction to his goal was as much relief as it was happiness. To be almost 33, career AHL’er, getting called up last yr for 1st time was a dream come true I’m sure. But it was short lived 9 games. Didn’t get a goal. Probably felt like he missed his only chance. Then gets a 2nd chance this yr and finally does it. Love that. He can now say he played in the NHL and scored. Sure, he re-signed for 2 more yrs, but it’s a 2-way and barring a ton of injuries or trade, realistically, this was his last opportunity to get an NHL goal. So happy for him.

  9. Teams don't think twice about targeting our best players without an enforcer, Larkin last game now Gibson..

  10. John Gibson is great but he gets hurt too easily, left a few games ago because of a stinger and now in this game leaves after a collision. Also I'm concerned about a potential concussion issue with him cus I noticed earlier this season it really effects him any time a shot hit him in the mask. I would really think twice about extending him in the offseason.

  11. 88 – future ? Believe me if Detroit doesn’t want him ,he might find another team if he wants ! If not his future is HOF !

  12. i know there are alot of wings fans screaming the sky is falling. this was a great example of why its not.I think as long as gibby comes back faulk is gonna be huge for our d core and im excited for perron and larks to get back. Were fine guys!! LGRW
