    I have to say, the playoffs this year are really getting me excited, even though the Devils will likely not be in them.

    I’m looking at the Sabres, the Red Wings, the Mammoth, the Kraken, Anaheim, etc. and the current tourney will be filled with new blood. That the league has enough parity that these teams that have been bottom dwellers for years are now in contention soothes my soul.

    The Mammoth especially. How can you not root for a team that was the Arizona Coyotes, playing in a dinky little 5000 person arena only a few months ago?
