Very misleading headline.The Sabres didn’t thump Tampa. It was a back and forth bar fight and they were the last man standing…barely.

Cooper is a tool, I think he thought he was insulting the Sabres by playing the backup.
I didn’t know how dirty they were I know be tough be physical get mean. But you don’t take cheap shots at men completely unaware of your attack. Like what if Tage got hurt on that play for weeks or more… there is nothing suspension they can hand out that will be equal to the actions that they took

The only guy on the team that really played scared, was Noah Ostlund. Power's lack of sandpaper was also exposed. Next time, we have other guys who can play in that type of game and it makes the Buffalo Sabres much more difficult to play against. Onward and upward, boys.
New saber fans Tampa dirty, while ignoring the cup check dhalin did to Hagel. 8-7 against the backup goalie is hardly a thumping. New Buffalo fans are already getting insufferable and they haven't won a playoff series yet. I said earlier in the year sabers would be a dangerous team… But please don't act like y'all don't do dirty things.

Watching that game last night, I thought so often about Rick Jeanneret and how absolutely crazy good he would have been calling this game. Esp in his prime. It had everything that Rick was known for. Major goals, major fights, hard hits, a game winning goal late. AND at home with the goal horn. I'm sure he's smiling down watching this team play this well.
Lets not forget something. I like UPL, but he did allow 7 goals. I'm very up in the air whether I start him in game 1 of playoffs. To me Alex Lyon has been the more consistent goalie this year for us.
Next time we see them Stanley better have a go with raddysh. He was swinging on dahlin before he could even get his gloves off.
