This team used to bring me joy
Best effort since the Olympics.
Hill showed up tonight, scoring depth did not. Lots and lots of chances, but a lot of them feeling half-hearted and not all there while being bullied and bodied by the Stars and stupid Jamie Benn.
This team is so cooked its not even funny atp. IF we make the playoffs it will be a MIRACLE if we beat any team in the first round. We aren’t good and haven’t been all season. Something huge has to change because as it is currently it feels like no one has any answers from the coaches to the players. Sigh.
Another game. Another disappointment.
Vegas is averaging 1.65 goals per game over the last 8. Goaltending is bad but it doesn’t matter, we can’t fucking score anyway
Fire Cassidy and his coaching staff, including Burke. Let’s rebuild from there.
Team didn’t look bad, tbh. If it wasn’t our millionth loss in a row, this game wouldn’t have sucked, really.
I think the weakness in the pacific has to do with Vegas, LA, and EDM repeat visits to the playoffs, so many road miles with out a true rebuild or actual retooling

Maybe the sticks are so tight because these guys are afraid that anytime they make a mistake it’s going to end up in our net? It’s hard to be aggressive and take chances on offense if every break away or mistake ends up being a goal against.
Without Otter we win that game 4 or 5 to 2. Dude is just phenomenal.
I’m blaming the dog shit power play. They gave us too many opportunities and we couldn’t get a single one in.

man i really don’t want to see cassidy go, but if a coaching change is what it takes for this team to be a strong division leading team then so be it. honestly i don’t even know if a coaching change would fix it, our goalies can’t stop pucks and our forwards can’t get goals
it’s really sad to see how bad the team is right now, i’m genuinely afraid of if we can make it into playoffs
I mean, Hill’s save% might go up a few percentage points after tonight. That’s good, right?
Sigh.
I don’t want to hear a goddamn word about goaltending when this is the sixth time in seven games the offense has failed to score more than two goals.
Edit: If Hill stops one more shot tonight, we go to OT where we’ve been historically trash this season. This despite outshooting Dallas by 10+. Hill even [somehow pulled out a slightly positive GSAx](https://moneypuck.com/g.htm?id=2025021020), so tonight was an example of the league-average goaltending people have been asking for and it still wasn’t enough.
*Clearly* there’s no other issues than goaltending whatsoever. Averaging less than two goals per game is *perfectly* normal for an offense with Marner, Eichel, Theodore, Hanifin, Andersson, etc!
I’m almost positive we’re recovering from a sickness we brought back from the Olympics. Really hope that’s all this is.
At this point Stone needs to retire. He’s too broken. We can’t have a team revolve around someone who plays 25% of every season. It fucks us up too much when he’s gone.

Don’t know if we need a little re tool or what but this team stinks right now. Multiple issues need to be addressed, lack of fight and good vibes. I don’t want to make the playoffs rn just to get swept by our first round opponent. This… is… brutal to watch. Go Knights Go 💛
