    isn’t this the third time this has happened? I know this is one of the risks but damn I feel so bad for him. I’m aware there are rules against players wearing full face shields but my god make an exception for him good lord

    I feel bad for him. I can imagine he can’t exactly wear a mouth guard right now either with the existing injury? League should’ve let him play in the bubble longer unless it was a personal choice.

    Look, I get it. Hockey players are tough and all that, but why they wouldn’t wear a full face shield/cage is beyond me. I mean, these idiots would still not be wearing helmets if the league didn’t make them. Just sicko behavior.

    I know players aren’t allowed to permanently wear a bubble for some dumbshit reason… but he *really* needs to wear one. Things are magnetically drawn to his face and at the rate he’s going, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him break his jaw again.
