1. I’ve been actively watching and hearing news all year so far. I hear the bandwagon invite, I’m going to stick to these Cali teams. Rep the home state.

  2. Isn’t it funny that All Buffalo fans thought this was our year!! The Bills and they kind faded away in heartbreaking fashion and 👼Myths brought 14 years drought season and the Sabres just awakening?? 🦄 I know this is still long way to go but except fans in Northeast, US and Canada, who wouldn’t cheer for this exciting Nintendo-like play that Sabres bring day in and out..

  3. As a Sabres fan whose first hockey memories were Hasek being the best goalie I’ve ever seen in my life ( still is) I had to let them go for about 8 years. I couldn’t stomach how terrible they were. I did the same thing with my bills after the Rob Johnson Doug flutie debacle the shit that happened in Tennessee but anyways I’d admit I’m a fuckin bandwagon fan. My heart can’t handle bad hockey or bad football lol fun to watch good hockey again and share that with my son and watch a little playoff hockey in 14 damn years!!!!

  4. That Sabres/Bolts game had the same feel of the US/CAN game in the Four Nations Tourney. Not the magnitude but the way the game had social media exploding, people tuning in, people who don't usually watch hockey were posting. Ol' timey hockey is making a comeback. Sabres are not a complete team yet so the Cup may be a lofty expectation. TB will not go down easily, Sabres struggle with CAR, MON is on par, vs DET I think they have the edge. Past those teams, Bos, Pitt give them fits and will be tough. Savoie has youth on his side and way too early to say one way or the other. McCloud is a great vet presence for a young team.

  5. tbh as a sabres fan in his 30s ive watched lindy get this team so close to a championship multiple times. i really want buffalo to win a cup for him more than i want them to win for myself. that guy deserves to have his legacy stamped into this city

  6. If the Sabres go all the way, and Dahlin isn't visibly their best player, they're not going all the way.

  7. Been a fan from the beginning.Haven't lived in Buffalo since 82 but lived in Tampa and saw them there and now in Arizona and driving to Vegas next week for game

  8. As a black man whos been a fan of the Sabres since the Domink Hasek, mogilny lafontane, rob ray days! There is a huge fan base of Afican Americans in Buffalo that goes unseen cuz we rarely go to the games. I want everybody from the hood on the east n west side to stand the F up and go crazy! Support yo team bro!!!

  9. Sharks Coach Warsofski was funny when asked about playing the Sabers. He looked dumb founded then said " they are good and they operate at a higher level of work ethic" "sometimes I think were working hard but the Sabers play at another level" High praise from another coach. I was never a Sabers fan but im certainly enjoying watching them. Especially I never thought they were a fighting squad but that Tampa game was awesome!

  10. Dahlin’s play has been damn-near flawless in all 3 zones. He’s our stone-cold psycho Swede, and there’s no reason he should be left out of any Makar/Hughes conversation.

  11. Grew up in Buffalo, life long fan of Buffalo sports sonits been a long time comin to be able to say… Go Sabers, Lets Go Buf-A-Lo!!!

  12. People think of Buffalo as a football city, Buffalo has always been a hockey city with a dysfunctional hockey team for the past 15 years. There is nothing like the Sabres being good.

  13. Cigs? We smoked 1 hitters in the bathrooms upstairs. What else are we gonna do there are zero ice sculptures up here. Seriously, we're forced to create our own amenities. The product on the ice is the best I've seen, ever, in Buffalo in the regular season. Going to be interesting when the intensity & physicality become a significant factor. Will Dahlin sustain his dominant season is the real question.

  14. In the past, Sabres only has the first line to score. The other three lines just did the dump and chase. Now, all four lines are able to score and not only that, they also have the solid goalies. They are an unstoppable freight train!

  15. So many sabres fans have been checked out for so long now (rightfully so) that even THEY don’t truly understand what we have here with rasmus dahlin. He was drafted 1st overall with all the hype in the world, the mcdavid of the blue line. The team sucks his first few years. Then the superstar of the team, eichel, has a messy divorce with the team and he inherits even MORE pressure. After over a decade of no playoffs and nothing but dysfunction they slap the c on this guys chest when he’s in his early 20s and they say SAVE US. 7 years of disfunction, 7 years no playoffs, 7 years of disrespect. And after a summer where his finance has spontaneous heart failure, almost dies and needs a heart transplant, they lose their unborn child; he gets off to a rough start in the season. He has to take a leave of absence from the team to go tend to his finance back in Sweden. The team is in the bottom of the league. They’re talking about trading tuch and selling everything at the deadline. He comes back and leads this team on the heater of all heaters. He has 60 points in 61 games. 31 points in his last 22….. 7 years of disfunction, 7 years no playoffs, 7 years of disrespect…. HE NEVER ASKED OUT HE NEVER ASKED FOR A TRADE HE NEVER SAID ONE BAD WORD ABOUT THIS CITY GE PUT THIS CITY ON HIS BACK. There might be players in this league better than him but there is no player who has the will the dog the fight the aura that this guy has to go through all of this and lead this franchise out of the pit and up to the top. Swedish Jesus is gonna put the league on notice !!!!!

  16. But why be let down? They are a great team with bright future. Too much expectations IMO. Humble and quiet approach is the way to go.

  17. I have been wearing Sabres sweatshirt for years now and I reside in California. Once in a while i would run into someone who used to live in Buffalo. This team is so fun to watch and best part is that the games are usually at 4 pm right when i get home from work. Go Sabres!!!!!!

  18. Are there no more Gilbert Perreault fans left 😮😊. Doan is my current favorite Sabre. Live in Arizona, loved his dad. Born in Syracuse New York lifelong Sabre fan😊

  19. I’ve been in construction a very long time and I don’t think I could crowbar better than you guys

  20. My god, bufflo wins 8-7 to TB backup goalie and you're talking about con Smyth winners 😂😂

Its cute sabers fans, enjoy your flowers.
