I never understood this hyper-focus on practice facilities. There's something to be said about being intimately familiar with the quirks of your home ice, the boards and the glass.

The main concern I have about the Canadiens calling up Fowler to replace Montembault is this: they are burning out a lot of their young goaltenders.

Brittania rink is such a weird choice of location for a practice facility. Nothing about that neighbourhood (heart of Commercial Drive) strikes me as "we have lots of space around here". Small community centre & library; a high school right next to it (and not one of Vancouver's luxurious, that's for sure). It would make more sense as a location if the Canucks still played at the Pacific Coliseum, but they don't. 🤔
Speaking of those who do, do you think the practice facility would be dual-use and the PWHL Goldeneyes would end up using it too? 🤔🤔

It's pathetic when we're the only team without a dedicated practice facility. This should have been done years ago. Many other teams play in bigger/denser populated cities. No excuses to say it's been hard to find land. Just cheap owners.

I'm not sure how much I trust these mid season writer votes, they have Cooper ahead of Ruff for the Jack Adams. The way they usually award the Adams, Ruff is the runaway winner.
