There was an article just posted by the NHL but doesn’t really offer any details, mostly just quotes from various players and league folks about how exciting it is, about growing the game in Germany, etc. nothing about ticket sales or such.

My god, not far from Dortmund. And Borussia Dortmund has a game that week – they’ve always seemed to have one of the coolest atmospheres in European football. Might have to make a vacation out of this and catch both if I can

Heres my question…Why do we keep having regular season games in Europe but it is forbidden for any high level soccer games to have a regular season game in the usa?
