#nhl #chicagoblackhawks #hockey

  1. Next year all the “kids” on the Blackhawks roster will be locked up long-term or under team control for the next five years at least. Next year the Blackhawks should be contending for a playoff spot. Frondel, West, Nestrasil, and 2026 top 10 draft pick, and 3 more 1st Rd picks will still not even be signed yet. The next three or four years the Blackhawks are in excellent position, have a ton of draft capital, and a ton of caps space from which to attract top free agents. The Blackhawks are in original six franchise and with a Great fan base. Chicago is an excellent destination location for most veteran free agents. Don’t know about dynasties and Stanley cups, but we are well positioned to be a very successful franchise for the next 10 years minimum. As a longtime Blackhawks fan i’ll take that. It’s going to be a fun time from 2026 till 2035 minimum in Chicago Blackhawks hockey world. The future looks great!!

  2. I think some of the "new guys" are going to be traded for….something, and Moore should be at center, not on someone's wing

  3. I'll start by saying I think you are right, Jay, with what Blash will do. What would I do? I'd have Bedsy centering Frondell and Burky. Not because I love Burky there, but he doesn't fit in the bottom six. I'd have Nazar centering Bert and Lardis. I want to see Lardis get some top 6 time. I'd have Donato centering Mikheyev and Tuevo as my checking line, and I'd have Boisvert centering Green and Mangiapane. Or Green center Boisvert and Mangiapane. Scratch Slaggs. I love the kid, but he's probably getting squeezed out next year anyway, so get to it.

  4. Frondell/ Bedard/ Moore
    Bert/ Nazar/ Kantserov
Tuevo/ Boisvert/ Mangiapane (Translated in Italian to English (Eat Bread)
    Burk/Donato/Lardis

  5. Aton's stock has risen since he was drafted. I believe he is currently ranked number one on future prospects. The kid can score and hit. 6ft1 200 pounds. Im ready for him to join the team. Watching the tape I absolutely love his two way game. Very excited.

  6. I know you're talking about the end of the season, but next year you have to throw Kantserov into the center discussion

  7. If Burky doesn't pick up his game , he would sit a couple games. But Blashill doesn't seem to ever move him which is strange. Lardis gets sent down ( which I don't want ), Lafferty and Slaggard would join the rotation of sitting. I would leave Greene on line 1 with Frondell. Boisvert on the 4th replacing Lardis , then get ready for Kantserov 😅

  8. Frondell will benefit from being on the wing, even if he takes a few faceoffs his skillset serves him best on the wing so slot him next to 98

  9. On a team that is starved for offense, who on earth would you send Nick Lardis back to Rockford?? I would go in the other direction and give him increased time as a winger on the 2nd or 3rd line.

  10. For some reason, after getting rid of the older guys, this team seems to have found a groove!Speed, they got it, and speed kills!I was concerned with their performances ,in the last month! But they gave Dallas a good game, and beating Utah who is fighting for the playoffs, and had to have these points, impresses me!Go Hawks, thanks for all you do!

  11. Question is….is Boisvert a head case? Will he get a rude awakening with the Hawks or is he someone that just doesn't give a crap and he's gonna do whatever he wants?

  12. Blashill doesn't make decisions on guys going to Rockford. Thats KDs job. If Lardis goes down, KD makes that decision. If he thinks hes good enough to stay, Blashill needs to find him a spot in the lineup.

  13. I want to see the Frondel at center, Bedard at wing experiment. More and more I'm starting to think we might see a great career from Bedard at wing be sacrificed for a good one at center. Let him focus on generating offense and take some of the defensive responsibilities and face offs off his plate. Frondel seems to be much more physical (even with the added physicality in Bedard's game this year) with a bigger emphasis on defense which could help create space for Bedard and his shot. Let him break off for offensive opportunities and let people accuse him of cherry picking. If it leads to results who cares? I'm not saying he's not an affective center I'm just saying I think his skills might be better suited at wing.
