It’s the tail end of the regular season, with games compressed due to the Olympics. I feel like we’re gonna be seeing this a lot the rest of the way. This is where depth is really gonna be important.

In all seriousness this is why we traded for depth, hopefully boys bounce back against the leafs!

I was led to believe Tuch just needed to sit just one game.

Have we hit the NBA load management era in hockey?

I’m not completely opposed to it, especially with how many minutes our top 4 defense play, but this seems like we’re assuming we don’t still need every win.

All good, the leafs are actively trying to lose out

  6. I think we’ve all been riding high on the crazy winning performance we e had but we need to be smart and calculated about getting into the playoffs healthy, not grinding out every win so we can get the top seed. Let’s not blow our metaphorical load early

  7. Need to ask the question. Is all that happening because Jarmo got reinforcements and Sabres are allowed to sit guys preventing anything major happening or Sabres are running out of good things already ?

Its toronto, just sit half the team to rest. We’ll be okay with 2 lines

Rest up whoever we have to so we can ensure that Stanley and Schenn never see the ice come playoff time.

We are playing the Leafs without Matthews, should be fine

As long as they don’t put Stanley & Schenn on the ice together again.
