I guess Eddie doesn't remember Kopitar getting hit in the open ice, and knocked out by Ryan Reeves. Nobody went after him when that happened. Plus Reaves went after Kopitar in other games too. He didn't stop pushing Kopitar around until Kurtis MacDermid joined the team, that's when it finally stopped!

The Kings making the playoffs is the worst possible thing for the organization. Don't believe me? Look at San Jose and Anaheim. All three teams were great all at the same time a dozen years ago. Now those two teams have many great young players forming new cores. Meanwhile LA has lost how many times in the first round of the playoffs?
It’s always better to not back off ! For every offensive mistake or bad break , there woulda been 5 saves your GT woulda had to make when backing off ! This is so much better !
Was against Hiller being fired, but l'm pleasantly surprised and remember the Kings finished in the 8th and last playoffs spot in 2012 and went on to win their 1st cup.
Moore has been our quickest player the last 2 games and blocking shots.

Playing not to lose is on one level playing in fear. You combine that with sticking with the five-forward power play for a third of the season and forcing Adrian to struggle on the point, Jim's aw-shucks personality, and the psychological effects of the playoff series and we had a whole lot of suffering. The only positive I can think of the organization allowing it to go on so long is we got Panarin out of it.

Very happy for Kopi. He deserves to be the top scoring King of all time. Could care less about the playoffs. This team isn't capable of getting last the first round. Blake and Holland promised us "win now" potential but have never really been serious about it. This team ain't the same as the 2012 team…Kuemper ain't a Quick, Kopi and DD are at 2/3 their 2012 level, Ceci ain't Voynkv, Dumolin ain't Mitchell, Byfield ain't Carter, Moore ain't Richards, and we have no one even close to being Dustin Brown or Justin Williams as leaders on the ice.
The owner of the Kings needs a brain transplant. He gave Lombardi such a short leash and fired him over Mike Richards despite winning two Cups in three years. Now Robitaille who likely played a part of the disaster that was picking Byfield over Stutzle, played a huge part in trading Vilardi and co for PLD, also ejecting our first ever Conn Smythe winner in Quick, and had lost many times in the first round with this trash team with zero core players….
I'm a long time Kings fan, been a fan since 2005….the fact we're cheering this mediorcre team through to wins is… devastating? It's certainly not positive. Good on you all for cheering for a mid table finish. cheers to being not good but not shit for 10 years and winning nothing, yet just being there. We're gonna be known as a easy beat nobody team
