Best situation Crosby/Girard healthy for the Avs as Malkin comes back from sitting in the corner. Need to start tearing it up rest of the month.

I bet Sid comes back Monday with Geno. Especially since they’re facing MacKinnon.

Damn, we need Sid.

The fuck are they doing keeping Koivunen up and wasting a standard recall for Alexeyev to sit in the press box as an extra hand (while Graves and St. Ivany play over 20 minutes last night on conditioning)??
You don’t want to waste a standard recall on an extra D when we traded our two “predictable” WBS forwards with extensive NHL experience. At least they have McGroarty, who’s never played 4 games as bad as Koivunen just did. On March 14, 2026 Koivunen is just not NHL-ready. Maybe he will be in like a week but we don’t have the time to wait.
Hopefully I’m wrong like my opinion on the A. Hayes call-up was, as he’s found something with kindel and glue guy. But Hayes’ strength, speed, a scrappiness obviously makes for a better eye test than Koivunen’s. I have no faith in that 2nd line, easily our worst since Brazeau got hurt.
