It’s too late to start tanking for a WC spot guys.

  2. Started watching the wild after Olympics juice, we’ve sucked since I’ve started. I will sacrifice my fandom till next year, good luck fellas

  3. buzbusybee

Every time Quinn takes a shot on goal I take a deep breath and prepare for disappointment

  4. Red_0utlaws

Rough games. Gotta get back to December form. Anyways we get two chances to fuck up the hawks.

  5. Puck luck sucked, again.

    Goalies slumping, again.

We have a month to snap out of it.

  6. Random_Hero218

We’re just trying to drop to WC1 right

  7. cantbelievethename

Sucks the skid is at home but hopefully this shook some of the false confidence out of them and they’ll focus on different approaches. The chances were there just no one to bury them

  8. GrailQuestPops

Here comes the doomer brigade. Pretty sure these bots aren’t even *from* Minnesota.

  9. silentsirensongs

y’all I don’t think I can ever chirp anyone in r/hockey again I’m so embarrassed

  10. Heavy_Belt_4480

Wake me up when Zucc and Hartman are off this team. Sad ass excuse for hockey players

  11. AintIGR8

Must be March and the constant backing into the playoffs

  12. EvelynFavre

Honestly yeah this sucks, but at least we played decent for two periods. I was just glad that Hynes finally made a change to the lines in the third, but I really wish he would’ve made some changes sooner because we’ve lost three games in a row going into this one, and we didn’t do anything differently. Also Zuc was infuriating tonight, I really wish he wasn’t on the first line with Kirill.

  13. Bjorn_CyBorg1

WTF? Collapsing right before our eyes.

  14. AccordingStar72

Have a team meeting, have a coach meeting, start messing with the lines and changing it up. Mindset is clearly a problem. Why we are having such inconsistent play in these periods is beyond me and has not been an issue before. When you put yourself into a hole it’s hard to dig yourself out of it in 20 minutes.

It’s March. Fine if we are slumping here, I’d rather do it now than in April. But you gotta figure this out. Hynes needs to show some emotion and take control of this if the locker room isn’t. Like I’m so sick of this passive attitude by him honestly. We have enough players we can start fucking it up.

And I’m so tired of the fanbase screaming fraud. We’ve been frauds and have 88 points? In what fucking world, give it up. This is a great team. The players care and are invested. Is Colorado frauds when they go through inconsistency? No. They aren’t. Every team has these streaks, we need to respond to them as a team and figure it out. Who fucking knows if Quinn Hughes is gonna re-sign it doesn’t matter right now. The team matters. We can’t control what Dallas is doing either.

  15. DuubyDoobyDoo

Meh. W/e let’s get em in chicago

  16. DND_Player_24

These losses are rough for multiple reasons.

But the positive takeaway: for 2/3 of the Flyers and Rangers games and at least 1/2 of tonight’s, the Wild dominated the play and looked like the vastly superior team, which they should be doing against these teams.

They just can’t finish, which is nothing knew for the team.

  17. AbeFroman-86

Well, there is always the 2026-2027 season to look forward to

  18. TheTree-43

Ok. We all knew we weren’t gonna be perfect from the trade deadline out. That’s fine. It’s over, and it’s Chicago’s problem now. Get right and make their fans watch Penn State the rest of the year

  19. the_radney

I’d like to see the first line mixed up. Put someone else with Kap regularly. Zucc does not need to be on PP1 either.

  20. Makestroz

We’re just playing 5d chess and convincing the Leafs they’re better off without Matthews so we can get him pennies on the dollar in the off season then solve our 1c problems

  21. AccordingStar72

And whatever I love this team and I love these guys and I know they can get out of whatever they’re in right now.

  22. Lilim-pumpernickel

Just brutal. Can’t beat three bad teams at home. Really frustrating game and stretch of games. Need to get right in Chicago.

  23. ben_nobot

Now is a good time to have a skid and then find their game just in time to peak for a very specific two month period

  24. ILikeLiftingMachines

Zucarello, what would you say you do around here?

  25. WideGap6125

    Bobby Brink glue guy?

Kinda feels like how when we lost Stewie before Chicago in 15 everything went to hell suddenly

  26. AccordingStar72

I’m done ranting now. My headache is now worse. GOODNIGHT. GO WILD.

  27. Constant-Catch7146

Been to three games this season—-and the Wild found a way to lose all three of them.

Thinking I might have been a curse on the team, but no—their play tonight confirms that I am NOT. Was not there at this game.

For the folks saying we still have 88 points—these last 3 losses against average to mediocre teams ARE an indicator that something is amiss.

The Stars are galloping up the points board with a 4 game win streak and about to overtake the Avs at this pace as top dog in the whole NHL.

And of course, who will we play in the first round playoffs? Dallas. Whelp.

We are still in the top 5 in terms of points in the league, but playing like we are in the bottom 5.

It’s time to stop with the excuses, oh—it’s not so bad–we still got a point with an OT loss, their goalie was hot, they are tired with all the games, losing to bad teams happens, and it’s just a slump. Hogwash.

This has to be one of the MOST TALENTED Wild teams ever—but NONE of that matters if they play like this the rest of this season AND into the first round of the playoffs.

The coach can yell and kick trashcans, they can have player only meetings, and practice until the cows come home.

But what would right the ship? Just win, baby!

Beating the lowly Blackhawks next Tuesday AND Thursday.

And then beating the Stars next Saturday.

    MAKE IT SO!
