    We’ll see a fair amount of Schenn and Stanley to end the season which is fine. You gotta give them a shot to gel, and take a little load off of the other defensemen. Come playoffs Metsa should firmly be in the lineup.

    Really hoping this isn’t a flash in the pan. Proper development can really work wonders for players, and these success stories happen throughout the league but it’s been so long for the Sabres (Brian Campbell maybe?) that it feels impossible

    This is obvious to people who watch around the league. He’s a more than adequate 6D who does exactly what you want a 6D to do. If the coaches can get past reputation of Stanley and Schenn, the decision is clear and easy.

    If the GM could get past reputation, he would never had made this boneheaded trade.
