Only thing Montreal has is offense. Goalies are mediocre most of the time and are bailed out with Canadiens scoring 4+ goals. Goalies also don't get much help from the defense. Defense is small and out of position. Good offensive defense, except no one with a scary blue line slapshot. They can't get the puck out of their zone when under pressure often enough to be noticeable.

Two losses against two very beatable teams are painful. Hughes hasn't done anything to improve his team, Fowler isn't a savior, he's more like Primeau 2.0, and the Canadiens needed a good experienced goaltender and a truly strong defenseman. The Canadiens are sinking and no one can pull them out of the water…

The Canadiens are not good in their own end. It's partly TEAM DEFENSE..but the Canadiens are loaded with too many offensive minded Defensemen.
I love Hutson. I know he's still young but he's an "Offense First" Defensemen. His cheating caused the Anaheim go ahead goal.
If they'd had a couple of Defensively sound and responsible Defenseman who were tough in their lineup… then the team would be on a completely different level.
There still would be no need to stifle CREATIVITY. They have alot of fire power.
I guess they couldn't make a move before the trade deadline.
Good game. Both teams tried hard. Habs holes in their defense showed up again this game. Fowler was rocking when it mattered most at the end of the game, can’t save them all.
And Habs had like 4 posts man what the fk.

Hutson should have been in front of the net. It's the responsibility of the center player to give assistance of the defense in trouble.
