Avalanche Stars and Wild have inflated records. The west has so many bad teams vs the East where every team is competitive
Whats with the push Tampa to 7 talk? We already played them 3 times. Twice in playoff style hockey and won 2 out of 3 and they needed to pull their goalie and then get us in 3v3 hockey to get their win against us.
Evidence shows we are better than them. They should be lucky to push US to a gave seven.

Buffalo's weak point this year for the play-0ffs has to be their powerplay. They need to be at least a 500 for their power play in the playoffs or they will get out scored.

Biggest fear is Lindy plays UPL
Sabres will defeat the Stars in game 6 on a questionable goalie interference call
Sabres weakness come playoff time is experience and Goal tending. Alex Lyon is good and slightly above average and can maybe steal a game or two during the regular season, but in the playoffs will he perform at a higher level? UPL is capable of being that goalie that gets hot but he has been wildly inconsistent without a shut out this year despite having a decent season. If the Sabres exit the post season in the 2nd round I think it is safe to say that many will be happy that they ended their playoff drought and won a round in the playoffs, which is something to build on going into next season.
Sabres have a lot of decisions to make in order to get the cap situation under control so they can sign Alex Tuch and a few of their RFA's, which is why I think they will trade UPL, and another forward in the off season. I would love for the Sabres to go after Charlie Lindgren to make this team even better defensively next year!
