Not a league. Best sport by far. Joke league.

  2. What if suspensions with intent last as long as the injured player is out.

  3. commanderr01

Can Toronto be a team and slam this clown. Please

  4. fustikecske

thats fine. i stand by my opinion as well – he can go fuck himself

  5. Midnightrain2469

Of course he does. Otherwise he would be unemployed as unfit for duty.

  6. ribbons87

Bro is so bitter about Colton Orr and the leafs.

  7. yodasmokesdank

And I remain confident he has CTE

    * »I feel confident in this decision. We came to it for a good reason. When we evaluate these plays, we look at the play, not the players »*

So confident that he has to answer questions from the media about this eh? Fuck this guy. Good reason… Yikes. He also claimed to have the best guys making this decision which is hilarious. I would never trust anyone who he thinks is « the best guy ».

  9. EvilSilentBob

Fox thinks henhouse security is great.

  10. Apprehensive-Rub-11

Toronto is the softest team but also the most suspended. How does that work?

  11. B1polarConf1dence

I’m so convinced it would have been like a 3 game suspension if everyone hadn’t made such a stink about the phone hearing and 5 game max. It really just felt like they went “oh wait, People are mad about this? Guess we have to give the max 5 game”. They have no idea what they are doing, so useless.

  12. PhiddyCent

All players and personalities are speaking out against this. Parros days are numbered

  13. ChairRip7

People want some accountability. Some transparency into decisions. Instead we get wagon circling and “trust me”. I don’t often agree with James Dolan but he was right when he said he George should go immediately. It’s a three year gig he has been doing for eight years. Most guys like Shanny and Blake are good enough to find other jobs.

  14. marcaractac

Player safety will always be a farce when the department is run by a goon.

  15. Majorinc

Wasn’t kadri given a bigger suspension because of prior history? Seemed to be looking at the player and not the play there

  16. Nylanderthal88

Eww I didn’t wanna see his ugly fucking face

  17. FaultThat

The weird thing to me is he claims to have a team and a process.

There is ZERO consistency in these suspensions.

Outside of literally having a SPIN-THE-WHEEL there cannot be a process.

  18. daveinthe6

I thought the player was taken into account with infractions? Repeat offenders receive harsher penalties.

  19. 8-Bit-Thick

Parros may be one the wosrt person to have as head of player safety. At this point Sean Avery would do a better job 😂

  20. -ApplePineapplePen-

Clowns saying their clown car is good enough.

  21. I reviewed the process and outcome I developed and have found no wrong doing by myself after an impartial review and consultation of my magic 8 ball (of coke)

  22. Do journalist not know how to be a journalist anymore? He talks about process, what fucking process? Explain to me how Morgan Reilly cross checking Ridley Grieg ( which he wasn’t hurt or missed any games as a result ) warrants the same punishment as a knee on knee, a play in which the player will miss significant time in this case 17 games, fine take the names and status of players out of it.. Reilly had never been suspended, Gudas is on suspension #5. This is one example. Any journalist want to do their jobs and start doing a little research can come up with multiple examples of this bullshit.

  23. Tikkkles

Parros is a clown. Full stop. Retire, cheesebrain.

  24. BeerLeagueSnipes

It’s not his concern he’s terrible at his job? Cool.

  25. BreadBetter6642

I have a suspicion that George seems to think every player starts the season with a clean slate and thus Gudas, because this is his first suspension this season he deserves only a five game suspension. George may have also taken one too many punches to the head.

  26. micatola

We, the fans, are not confident in DOPS process. We don’t GAF about Parros’ opinion on how he views his own performance.

  27. InternImpossible8685

    former goon…

him being in this position is the the 2nd biggest conflict of interest in the league. DOPS needs to be independent and run by non players.

  28. DreadLordAvatar

Bettma and Parros need to be investigated for fraud and corruption

  29. KingRabbit_

    > »The assumption was that there was an injury on this play, » Parros explained. « Having that information and feeling that way about this, knowing that there’s likely an injury, I still decided to have just a phone hearing for that. It wasn’t like I decided to have a phone hearing, found out there was an injury, and then wished I had an in-person instead, if that’s what you’re asking. »

Does he think that helps him?

« I knew there was a serious injury to an elite player on the play and still decided to give a perennial-goon an easy ride. »

  30. CrossfireZX5

Parros can suck a fat one as far as I’m concerned, wish the ice hit his head a little harder

  31. sob_bos

Goudas has been suspended multiple times, shows disregard for the rules. Yet only gets 5 games, Parros is joke and needs to be removed from this department.

  32. DreadLordAvatar

Jets’ Pionk knee on Sandin takeout in 2021 only got 2 games, then Spezza fell on pionk accidentally and got 6 games (reduced to 4). Reilly got 5 games for cross check on Grig where he got up, laughed and skated away. So many more. There is clearly a bias and corrupt MO from Parros and Bettman. NHL is a joke.

  33. UnanimouslyAnonymous

Parros, and his « team », have been responsible for over a decade of inconsistent discipline, zero transparency or accountability, and a major source of confusion for fans, players, and team staff. Their decisions fly directly in the face of the NHL messaging – trying to take dirty plays out of hockey.

Parros, you can feel confident all you want. *That’s the problem.* You’re *this* confident and you don’t understand there’s a problem.

You were a shit player, you’re a shit team leader, and you should be ashamed – although after hearing how you defend yourself, I’m not sure you’re capable (not capable of *much*, are we Georgey boy?).

  34. maggie88ca

Dude played 75% of his games with Anaheim of course he was gonna go easy on them. Former players should not be part of DOPS it should be an independent unbiased observer.

  35. Turbulent-Scratch401

Only the NHL would hire a goon and former enforcer to be the head of the DoPS.

  36. RattledRed

« Im confident that I’m correct and everybody else is wrong, I follow a system that was setup by me and has been in place for many many years, and I am confident that there’s no issues. Im right, you are wrong ». -Parros

    :).

  37. the--meat--sweats

He says “we look at the play, not the player” and then in the same breath “we then look at the player history”……. Bitch that’s the same thing
