« We look at the play, not the player »

Yeah no shit bud, that’s kinda the problem

« We’re always looking to improve if there’s room for it, » Parros said. « We feel very confident in this process… but that doesn’t mean that we’re not willing to evolve if we need to. »

SO MAYBE THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES, BUD.

Expecting anything intelligent yo come from this guy’s head is expecting too much

Parros the goon defends the punishment.

    No way.

This guy was a mustache that could fight. Hardly a beacon of player safety. The NHLPA needs to sue him or open up an investigation into their own player safety department.

Hey Parros, the process is only as good as the people applying it, and so far, it has been pure shit. Too many fines when suspensions should be in order and never enough games for repeat offenders. Goons taking out stars should be a no-brainer, but you keep dropping the ball.

    Fans aren’t happy.

    Team owners aren’t happy.

    The players aren’t happy.

Who the fuck are you making these decisions for?!? It certainly isn’t about player safety so we can only assume that ‘making hockey violent again’ is your actual mission.

Step the fuck down and let someone with an actual mandate for player safety take over ffs. We’ve seen enough.

How the f**k is this even defendable? There’s past history, and intent.

DOPS Frank Zappa is getting a little long in the tooth. Imagine a non-Bettman run NHL – will that ever happen?

People are acting like this is a new thing

Supplemental discipline was shit under Shanahan and it was blatantly bias shit under Campbell.

It’s only being given a bigger spotlight now cause a Toronto player was one hurt

This joke of a professional league will always be dog shit

Have egregious harmful plays leading to injuries decreased since Parros got hired?

If they’ve remained constant or increased, he sucks at his job.

Want it to stop? Start fining the organization. That’s how they stopped bench clearing brawls.

Parros is a fucking joke, just looking at Gudas’ suspension history is crazy, not how many times but the things he’s been suspended for. Hit to the head in preseason game and slashing someone in the neck are not accidents. This is not a player who just made a mistake. This is a player who targets other players routinely. I hope he gets his ass handed to him when he steps on the ice next.
