Sacha Boisvert prêt à faire ses preuves avec les Blackhawks après avoir quitté l’Université de Boston

Nous avons donc eu des discussions négatives l’autre jour, mais cette séance semble être un peu une réparation d’image et une promesse de travail.

Wish he had proved himself at Boston University first

I mean he’s gonna go to the AHL for sure, right?

I think for him, a lot is gonna depend on how he responds to coaching. If he’s receptive and can do the work, he has a chance to impact the team positively next year sometime. If not, he’s gonna probably be a challenge to get the most out of him.

The Hawks should be expecting some physical play. His draft status was because of his athletic nature. It was in part because he trained as a boxer.

If he is part of the team and plays decent playing time and does not fight anyone, then i will be disappointed. He should have a few chances over the next weeks.

    >“I’m done with college now. I think I was ready to turn pro. I think it was a good moment.”

That quote reminded me of Arty not wanting to go back to school either, I guess some guys just want to get to the pros and be done with college asap

Any word on whether or not he will play tonight?

Most likely gets in on Thursday or Friday. Personally sounds like some of the “issues” at BU were because he was a cocky 19-year old kid. Hell get his fair share of games to end the season, and most likely spend all next season in Rockford

If things went down the way he said they did then I’m a little less worried about Sacha than I was before. If he truly went to the coaches, admitted he was late with no excuses, and was man enough to just accept the consequence of being scratched for the game, I actually think that’s the best possible scenario. Not to say it’s good he was late but if that’s an accurate retelling of how it was handled then I think he’ll be alright.
