I have a terrible memory so maybe someone can enlighten me here, but did Lilleberg turn a corner at some point and become an important blue liner for us? I’ve always found him to be an unremarkable defenseman who frequently misses his assignments and takes a lot of lazy penalties, but then I see people acting like his return to the lineup is somehow great news.

Lilleberg doesn’t get the love he deserves imo. He can play extremely physical and lay huge hits and we’ll need that come playoffs. Is he perfect? No, but i think our lineup is better with him in it, especially if we have other injuries on D.

My guess would be they try to get through the west coast trip before bringing him back in unless he’s just really ready to go and we want to sit someone else

Very weird Crozier and Carlile both got hurt. Proliferation of D injuries has been insane but I hope they don’t rush Lil back. Let him get up to 100% mentally, bc he’s missed a lot of time recently.
