I think its far too early to say anything like this. But my god does he look good out there. Hitting no look passes right to the tape, hard to belive he only got one practice in with the team, excited to see where he goes with more time to settle in

I’ve seen enough. Put him in the sports hall of fame

Im not saying hes the best ever but hes in the top 1.

  4. He’s definitely Ray Bourque level. Still too early to decide if he’s Orr level. Let’s wait one more period.

Hutson had ONE practice with Caps. That dude is awesome.

Changed my mind, there’s still time to win the Stanley Cup

I’ve seen enough. Give him a 20 year contract.

I was laughing when John Walton pointed out that Ovi started playing in the NHL before Cole was born.

He’s the truth. We (finally) have a dynamic play driving D-man in the mold of Karlsson, Makar, etc.

No offense to John Carlson, but Cole is a different (more modern) type of Offensive Defenseman.

Currently sitting at 1 G/GP. Need I say more?

I’m heartened. Leno’s call up last year felt like he wasn’t quite ready. Hutson looked like he absolutely belonged. Flashed all night. Played fast, had good vision and feel, joined the rush and pinched up into the offensive zone consistently all night and may already be the fastest guy on the team. What a stellar performance

Montreal fan here! Glad to hear he’s doing well. It’s fun having a Hutson, eh?

He jumped into the first game and absolutely commanded the puck in every situation. Had the best analytics on the team, most o zone possession, created countless chances, single-handedly entered the zone multiple times.

We haven’t had a guy step on the ice and make an impact like this in literally decades. This shit is different and it’s not an overreaction to say so. He could easily win the Calder next year.

Only one of them carried a 1.0 goals per game average over their whole career …

I went to the game tonight. Hutty skates like he’s fucking floating on the ice. His skating is so smooth it looks like a figure skaters level of grace. He is ethereal and he has played one game and I would already kill for him.
